Hybrid Eco Cruser

HReko is a hybrid of a monohull and trimaran. An innovative concept of hybrid stability makes possible a 4000 kg (8800 lb) weight, 40 ft. length sailboat with a draft of less than 18 inches (42 cm), and an impressive righting moment of more than 4000 kgm. At greater than 14 foot-tons, its RM25 is about double that of a convention sailboat of the same size and purpose. Along with its excellent sailing performance is the ability to generate 3.5 kW (theoretical maximum) of electrical power from the sun and wind making the HReko a practically carbon neutral boat.
